Appointment Information


Your Office Visit

Our entire staff is prepared to make your visits to our clinic and any subsequent surgery go as smoothly as possible. On your first visit, be sure to bring your insurance card and any previous x-rays or laboratory work that have been performed through another facility or physician and are pertinent to your visit with us.

Even though most patients are referred by a physician, we do accept self referrals. Your first visit will involve an examination by one of our physicians or nurse practitioner. We will then set up a surgery date for you if surgery is warranted. Except in emergencies, you will not go to the hospital from our clinic.

Clinic Hours

Our clinic is open  Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Except for emergency situations, you can expect us to be on time. Likewise, we will expect the same courtesy. If you are unable to keep this appointment, we require 24 hours notice, except in case of emergency. This allows us to use your reserved time for another patient. We look forward to providing your care.

Treatment Information


General Surgery

As general surgeons, we do a variety of surgical procedures, including treating gallbladder disease, hemorrhoids, colon problems, and peripheral vascular problems; repairing hernias; placing ports for dialysis; and removing breast masses. WeWe will perform your surgery at Mon General Hospital.


Prescription refills will be called in with-in 48 hours of receiving the request during regular office hours when we have immediate access to your medical records. You must have seen one of our providers with-in the last year for the prescription to be refilled, otherwise please contact our office for an appointment for re-evaluation.


Our physicians share call with other General Surgeons of Mon General Hospital. If you have an emergency during the working day, our staff will advise you whether to meet your physician at our clinic or at the hospital emergency room. After hours, you are advised to report to Mon General Hospital Emergency Room or contact the hospital operator at 304-598-1200 and have our on-call physician paged.

Fees, Payment, and Insurance

Our fees are competitive with those in the area and based on relative value studies. Payment is expected at the time of service unless previous arrangements have been made. We accept all forms of payment including Debit cards, Credit cards and personal checks.

We accept most insurance plans including Medicare, Health Plan, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Worker’s Compensation among others. Our insurance specialists will be happy to assist you if you have questions. We will file the claims for you and assist with any further documentation needed to obtain the maximum benefits you are entitled to.

Your insurance card and payment of any co-pays will be required when you come for your office visit.
